Pick a schema type, fill in what you know, and copy the JSON-LD. Empty fields are left out, so the markup only states what you entered. It runs in your browser and needs no account.
<script type="application/ld+json">
{
"@context": "https://schema.org",
"@type": "FAQPage"
}
</script>For the reasoning behind each type, read the schema markup guide or the comparison of schema generators and validators.
Paste the whole script tag into the HTML of the page it describes, in the head or anywhere in the body. On Shopify that is usually the theme template for the page type; in a Next.js or React site, render it as a script tag with type application/ld+json.
Not by itself. Markup makes a page eligible for the result types Google still supports, such as product and review snippets, but Google decides whether to show them. Google stopped showing FAQ rich results in May 2026, so FAQ markup now helps machines read your answers rather than changing how the listing looks.
Google reads both, and recommends JSON-LD because it sits in one block that is separate from your visible HTML, which makes it easier to add and maintain.
No. The markup is built in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to Seology.
Run the page or the code through the Schema.org validator for syntax, and through the Google Rich Results Test to see which result types the page is eligible for.
This tool writes one block at a time. The Seology AI SEO agent audits every page, drafts the missing markup, and delivers it to your Shopify store or as a GitHub pull request for you to review.
